I have been a lover of words for most of my life. I started to read at the age of
three. Ideas, reflections, storytelling, commentary have been part of my professional and personal life since then. I am driven to understand the complexities and paradoxes of life, the difficulties that can break or make people.
What I've tried to do is follow the advice that Rilke gave a young poet, that
"one ought to wait and gather sense and sweetness a whole life long...and then quite at the end, one might perhaps be able to write ten good lines..."
